The six manufacturers will compare the different inkjet technology used in making the same label on the same type of printing material.
At the 2013 European label, six leading inkjet printer manufacturers will compete in inkjet technology. The participating companies will use the same pre press equipment to demonstrate printing food, medicine and industrial labels on the same printing materials.
The six inkjet printer manufacturers include Durst Phototechnik, Domino Printing Sciences, EFI Jetrion, Epson Europe, Heidelberg Linoprint, and Stork. Esko will provide the required original files, color management software and die cutting software; UPM Raflatac, FLE Xcon and Herma provide ordinary paper, film and bronzing film; Xeikon, as a representative of the dry powder technology, will also demonstrate the label for the production of the same design.
This will be a new development of sticker label technology. We will be able to use new technology to produce better labels for our customers.
